hey again, i haven't posted in a while. sorry. i've been busy. whatever. i don't really have much to say. j.r. martinez is a really good dancer on dancing with the stars. i'm really bored. edmodo.com is stupid. sigh sigh sigh. life is dull here.

there's this guy named shane. he's super annoying, but he's also really cute. if he would just stop talking so much it'd be great. but unfortunately he doesn't. sigh sigh sigh.

i wish i could do that. but i just don't like charlotte. I keep re-reading the parts about chapel hill and wishing i was back. people are nice here, just not my type. normal and all. i've been doing a project on harry potter. i like it. nobody else likes the teacher, but i kind of do. she's tough, but she's the first real language arts teacher i've had. never learned anything from anyone else, just from books. anyway, this harry potter project is fun. i get to read the books again. and again. and again. i love those books. i want to go to hogwarts, whre no one knows any one else, really, and everyone's special. i'd be in ravenclaw, i think. i can't wait until i get my pottermore email. it should be coming really soon. in a few days, i think. i am glum. there's nothing for me here. i want to go home... except field hockey. they have a great league. the coach used to coach the davidson team. i like her. the goalie is really cool too. i just don't want to be here anymore...

i can't wait until harry potter has come out! we have tickets to the midnight showing. i have(mostly) accepted that they are only based on the books and not to be annoyed when they change things. and that the people won't be very quiet during the movie. so we might see it twice. my birthday party is coming up. i think we might go on a canopy tour of the u.s.n.w.c., or carowinds. hopefully no one is afraid of heights. haha. dont really know what to do right now... should probably look for the hp movies we have so i can catch up on everything before we go to the main thing. five days to watch six movies, cuz we saw the 2nd yesterday. we're getting t shirts. im excited. i have to go now. because i just have to.

hey guys! today i visited the house for the first time with our stuff in it, and it is... a lot darker than we thought. which made me really sad. wah. another thing that made me sad was i left my grandpa's house. we had so much more fun there than we will here, i just know it. rahrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! we could swim, and watch t.v., and play on the computer, and watch movies whenever! now we CAN'T. i wanna go back now. cree is really confused, he thought he was going home but he was actually going to charlotte. poor bud. he likes it at home.

my room is really dark. i thought it was going to be lighter than it is. but it's not. and so far, i have like, zero furniture. still!!!!! i want to leave... but i can't... so i'm screaming on the inside. and we have no food.just chips and peanut butter pretzels. but since i'm trying to see the bright side of things, there's a neighborhood directory where i can put my contact info for babysitting. so that's good! ish. don't you just love the word ish? it's so funny! even though it's not a word. i love it! my fave. i'm hoping there are lots of people my age to hang out with, and there are lots of slow-children-at-play signs (i bet those kids wish they were fast). but that's like seriously the only good thing. still working on georgia's pics, i promise i'll get them.

have wheels, will travel

so, we finally own a house, after about a month of running around with no home to return to. really, we've been traveling like crazy with no home to return to. you would not believe how much we have spent on gasoline traveling from place to place.or maybe you would. depends on who you are. i'm staying in w-s with my aunt and grandpa until maybe friday or saturday. movers r moving us in on thursday, tomorrow, maybe friday, and there's going to be painting and floor cleaning and such going on. we were banished so as not to be under foot(read that with very precise pronunciation). still working on those pictures of sweetie pie georgia, i promise they will be here soon! i just need to remember to load them on to the computer. we have 3 dogs in our care at the moment, actually; georgia, cree, and chancy. chancy is a small grey-brown 11 year old dog. cree is also grey brown and 13 years old. chancy is my aunt's dog, cree is mine. which you probably already knew. depending on who you are. and if i know you. at all. chancy's actually laying next to me right now. she's such a cuddly dog. so soft. anyway. i need to find some new stuff to do. any ideas? comment! later, i gotta go throw the ball in the pool for georgia.

if age is just a number, then jail is just a room

i'm a year older now! if you read the title, it does make sense, when you think about it(or don't). i'm super excited, because now i don't have to pretend that i'm old enough on those computer games when you have to get your parents permission for stuff! yay! for presents, i got 2 swimsuits, i giant stuffed panda bear, a cool lamp, 1pair of earrings, tarot cards, 2 sara bareilles cds, a turtle filled with sand, and the biggest one... a new stereo with a clock, cd player, radio, i pod docking station, the works. (haha, that's a funny expression[that's even funnier!'expression' 'ex-PRESH-ion'] the works! ah hahahahahahaha. ha. ha. k i'm done.) i love it!!!!! eee!

on to more... well, just topics, really. the house we bought is closing on wednsday, and i am going to get a neeeeeeeeeew (announcer voice......) car! no, just kidding, a bed. and some more stuff. like a bedside table. but it's going to come together gradually, not all at once.

more stuff: my aunt has this really sweet dog named georgia. she's a black lab retriever, and she is supeerrrr grrrrrr-rate(as the kellogg's frosted flakes tiger says)! my sister and i were playing in the pool and trying to lie down on the bottom, and she ran over looking all cute and concerned and jumped in the pool and tried to get us to come up. she's the new lifeguard! after that whenever she would go under she would watch us carefully. and she's only 9 months. i just love her. even my dad, who's against getting another dog, wants a dog like her, who loves to play catch and swim. he's her favorite fetch person, when he sits down she brings the ball straight to him. i'll try to get some pictures for you. she is just the most precious thing ever!

so i have to go now. must go be pup-erazzi for the new miss georgia, in the running for miss america! (sorry, bad joke)

if home is where the heart is, where am i? i honestly don't know, because my heart is in so many places right now. some is in w-s, with my grandpa. some is with my friends in c-h. some is here on hhi, with me. so if you're heart is all around, where is home?

i'm going to be 13 in 4 days. yay yay yay! excited.

it's really smokey. there are some big wild fires in both florida and georgia, and the smoke is coming up here.poor animals-that-live-there. poor people-that-live-there. it's also really hot.

i heart vacation (moving? nah)

so i'm in winston salem now at my grandpa's house. it just stopped raining and the sun is coming out. 10211 rattersly is part of my new address. well not yet, we haven't closed yet, but that's where we're probably going to be if there aren't any problems with the roof. apparently it's leaking or something. my sisters are playing in the pool. is today thursday? i think it's thursday. i don't know.we were supposed to go to hilton head island today, but we came here instead. cree is really anxious and scared. he's worried we're going to leave him somewhere and not come back for him.i went to meghna's birthday party on sat, it made me sad when i realized i probably wasn't going to come to another one. we'll probably keep in touch, but not really see each other much. all of my friends, actually. oh, and room update: i'm thinking metal bed frame, and no polka dots on the walls, just lime green. not really sure if those would work together though. ah well. i'll think about it.

every cloud (may or may not have)has a silver lining

out of house now. in charlotte at my dad's apartment. still trying to figure out the silver lining to this cloud... there are some younger boys at this complex who are kind of cute, really, in the little-kid way. they play outside after they get home from school. i keep forgetting if i've mentioned things in other posts or not, like i want to start a new blog but don't know what to name it. all caps? cookie crumbs? silver linings? hmmm... something for me to ponder as i sit about waiting for something to happen because although i believe people should make things happen themselves, i don't know what to do in this godforsaken city. sighs sighs and more sighs. cree is eating a lot lately; we think he likes the purina food so he'll pretend like he's starving and we give him 3 meals instead of 2. we shouldn't, but he's just so cute! more on him later. i've been reading this book, 'trickster's choice' by tamora pierce(who is, btw, my favorite author[she writes awesome stuff; check out her beka cooper series!]) and it's really awesome. look for it when you get the chance! more suggestions later; au revoir!

moving procrastination

House update: current state=messy. The movers are coming on Monday, and everything not packed up is going to disappear for a month. ugh. I might be missing the last week of school because we won't have a place to stay. now that i think about it, i might have already mentioned that.oh well. it doesn't matter. But i know i haven't mentioned that i might have to miss part of my field hockey league. huh.league is hard to spell. funny word. sighs sighs sighs.i'm procrastinating... i really should start packing. hmm..... maybe later. lalabye

EVERYTHING!!!

Sorry, if you were looking for a blog on everything, look somewhere else.Even though that's the title of this post. So we found a house in Charlotte that we made an offer on and we're probably going to buy it. I would get the guest suite downstairs with the full two-part awesome bathroom and big windows. It has a great kitchen and it's just overall a really great big house with a nice big yard and plenty of space for the whole family. I'm also going to be able to redo my whole room and get totally new furniture. I'm so excited. Well, not about the leaving part. Today, Lucy Edy left for Boone, N.C., because her mom got a job there. I'm happy for her. Her dad lives in Charlotte, too, so we'll still get to see each other. I've got 'King of Anything,' the song, stuck in my head. I really like it though. Only two weeks of school left. It's memorial day weekend. I can't wait till my birthday. Only a few weeks, and I'll be 13! I'll be able to get a Facebook, wear make-up, and get freebies from 17 magazine. YAY! Oh this is all just random stuff coming to my mind. Sort of like a free-write. haha. I want to eat chocolate, ice cream, and watch harry potter. oh, that would be nice. but instead i have to pack up for a stupid move. bleh. i just randomly stopped capitalizing. heehee.my l.a. teacher assigned us a stupid three-minute essay assignment. I wrote about colors.everything looks so pretty after rain, which it was five minutes ago. bye
